About Wild Collective
The Wild Collective began as a spontaneous three-day festival—dreamed up by four friends (Sala, Dilsiri, Keira & Anais) and brought to life in just two months. What started as a one-time celebration of friendship and freedom quickly became a defining moment for Kalpitiya’s creative energy. The beachfront grounds of Kitesurfing Lanka became a playground for art, music, connection, and imagination.

How to Get Involved
The Wild Collective is now part of KSL’s living history, with its energy carried forward through Burning Donkey Festival and other creative happenings. While the Wild Collective itself has concluded, you can be part of its evolution by exploring Burning Donkey—our next-gen cultural festival rooted in the same spirit of collaboration and artistic freedom.
