Diving and Snorkeling

Kalpitiya’s Scuba Diving and Marine scene is very underrated compared to the rest of Sri Lanka. The marine life both micro and macro are abundant and diverse. Unlike the South; we are usually the only ones in the water – you will have the luxury of the entire underwater world for you for miles.

We have some cool spots with large schools of fish, Giant Moray and Nudibranchs’. We have also seen Whale Shark, Marbel Ray and even Sperm and Blue Whales during surface intervals!

Kalpitiya is great to learn to dive too. Warm water, uncrowded and fun and interesting local dive instructors.

Discover scuba diving (Try dive)
The PADI ‘Discover Scuba Diving’ is a one-day program to get you underwater straight away and show you the beauty and fun of scuba diving. It’s an experience program so you don’t get a certification at the end. It’s perfect if you’re short on time and just want to have a day diving.
Pool session + 2 dives = € 145
Pool session + 1 dive = € 100
Pool session only = € 60

PADI Open water certification (Get your diving license)
Want to learn how to dive? Take the open water course and you will be certified to dive with another certified diver to 18m anywhere in the world for the rest of your life!
Open water course: € 400

Diving with a guide & equipment rental
If you’re already a certified diver, this one is for you! Go on a half-day trip to explore 2 different dive sites at Kalpitiya’s reef.

2 dives: € 80
Includes all equipment and local guide

Other Activities

There's plenty to do without even having to leave the camp! We have a mini spa in our camp where you can get a shiatsu massage, or you can join us for a yoga class on the yoga deck. We are happy to arrange sightseeing tours for you. We can also arrange National Park safaris, or dolphin and whale watching tours, as well as diving in the winter season.
