Welcome to the coolest beach bar in Kalpitiya! With front-row views of the sandbank and Donkey Point’s waves, it’s the ultimate spot to sip a drink and watch the sun melt into the horizon. During winter, kiteboarders and wingfoilers ride right in front of the bar — perfect for a mid-session break, a hammock chill, and a refreshing drink.

Our beach bar isn’t just about the views. Fire up your appetite with freshly baked pizzas from our wood-fired oven, or join a game on the beach with our volleyball court and pétanque field — and don’t be shy to challenge our staff for some fun competition!

When the sun sets, the vibe shifts. KSL is known for having the best nightlife in Kalpitiya, with weekend concerts, local DJs, and a buzzing crowd from all over. On special nights, we light up a bonfire right on the beach — and if the ocean is kind, you might even spot magical bioluminescent plankton glowing in the waves.

Kitesurfing Lanka is a camp with lots of character. Our property has grown organically over the last 10 years. We didn’t have big money to invest in the beginning so we looked at functionality and affordability while playing on the fact that we lived in an absolute heavenly setting..
