About Kalpitiya Art Residency

The Kalpitiya Art Residency invites visual artists to engage with KSL’s environment — walls, communal spaces, and beachside paths become sites of creative expression. Artists from around the world and from Sri Lanka collaborate with guests and locals, blending adventure tourism with emerging visual practices. The residency celebrates art in context, weaving creativity into everyday life at the camp.
