Kiteshop & Repair
Professional kite repair – right at the camp
Our in-house Kite Repair Shop is fully equipped to handle everything from small tears to major damage. Led by our skilled repair expert Nishantha—with support from his wife Shashikala and niece Nelumkumudu—our team uses professional-grade tools and years of hands-on experience to restore your gear to top condition.
Need a quick fix? Drop off and pick-up is easy at our Unhooked Shop, conveniently located at the camp entrance.
The repair shop was born from necessity. In KSL’s early days, damaged kites had to be sent back to manufacturers—a time-consuming and costly process. Thanks to Dil’s background in textiles and a vision for local craftsmanship, we decided to create our own solution. With investment in equipment and training, our repair facility took shape.
Over the years, the shop evolved into a hub of creativity and sustainability. Besides repairs, the team upcycles old kite material into unique pouches and bags—each item a blend of function, design, and purpose.
