Fear not—whether you need new gear or a quick repair, we’ve got you covered. Our Kiteshop is fully stocked with the latest kites, harnesses, and boards, along with swimwear, sunscreen, and our popular rash guards to keep you protected under the sun.
Our repair shop grew out of necessity. Initially, we sent damaged gear back to the factories, but soon realized we could do it ourselves. By investing in specialized machinery and training our staff—leveraging Dil’s previous experience in textiles—we set up our own repair facility. Nishantha quickly mastered the craft, and after a few years, we turned it into a partnership that’s now celebrating its 10th year. Nishantha is joined by his wife, Shashikala, and together they even give new life to discarded kites, transforming them into bags and pouches—a perfect blend of skill, sustainability, and creativity.
What you will find in our store
If you have a specific kite you would like, please contact us in advance of your stay and we can pre-order your kites to be available on arrival and eliminate the need for rental. Or if you are looking to upgrade we can offer trade-in for your old kites.

HK KitesDesigned and tested by Hannes Knolz , produced in Sri Lanka. Hannes has been kiting and designing for many years and loves to ride the waves HK kite models ranging from Wave (Fury Pro) to All rounder (Fury) to Freestyle (Beast) and Hangtime (Taurus), are built using the newest material and latest techniques making the HK kites unique and years ahead of other brands. Hannes uses local talent to perfect the designs year on year and many riders have competed and won competitions on his kites.
