Your Journey to KSL — By Taxi or Public Transport
Getting to Kitesurfing Lanka is simple. The easiest and most comfortable option is our private taxi service, which we can arrange for you. Prefer public transport? That’s possible too — just allow extra time and flexibility. Driving Directions from Colombo / Bandaranaike International Airport:
1. Follow the Main Negombo Road north out of Colombo or the airport area.
2. Pass through the town of Chilaw and continue onto the Puttalam Road.
3. At the Palavi Junction (120 km marker), turn left onto the Kalpitiya Road.
4. Stay on this road for 36 km until you reach Kandakuliya Beach Road — a junction with a tuk-tuk stand and small shops.
5. Turn left onto Kandakuliya Beach Road and continue for approximately 3 km. (Do not turn into any side roads — stick to the main tarred road.)
6. Pass the Muslim School; the road will curve to the right.
7. On the right-hand side, look out for a gravel road marked with a Kitesurfing Lanka signboard.
8. Turn right here, cross a small culvert, and you’ll find our blue gate on the left — Welcome to KSL!
