Dil & Leo — Co-founders & visionaries
From a single kite trip to creating one of Asia’s most iconic kite camps, Dil and Leo have shaped KSL with purpose, passion, and a deep love for people, nature, and wind.
Dil is the creative soul and gardener-in-chief, while Leo brings the numbers, structure and relentless stoke.

Sebastian & Randika – Front office & guest relations
From your first email to your arrival at camp, these two ensure your KSL journey is smooth, personal, and full of good vibes.

Jude – accounting & administration
With calm precision, Jude keeps the engine running — from budgeting to behind-the-scenes coordination.

Gaurawa & Thilak – Activity Centre & Yoga

Gaurawa – Activity Centre Manager & Resident Yoga Practitioner With a calm focus and a strategic eye, Gaurawa leads our entire activity department. As a dedicated Yoga practitioner, he brings a mindful balance to the high-energy life at KSL. Whether he’s coordinating our international team or leading you through a sunrise flow, Gaurawa ensures that every guest finds their perfect rhythm on and off the mat.

Thilak – Resident Guide & Experience Host Whether it’s kayaking through the mangroves, cycling hidden paths around Kalpitiya, or exploring Wilpattu by sea — “Captain T.” leads every trip with calm expertise and a deep love for nature. In the evenings, you’ll likely find him at the Carrom board, still undefeated.

Chami, Shirantha, Maurinton & Ashen – Culinary team
What started as local training turned into professional skill. These chefs whip up flavors that fuel your sessions and keep you coming back for seconds.

Sandun – Bar legend & cocktail master
With his signature smile and easygoing charm, Sandun brings the good vibes to every sunset session. As the man behind the bar, he’s the one mixing your favorites and setting the tone for unforgettable evenings at KSL. From fresh coconuts to killer cocktails — he’s got you covered.

Tharindu & Nissanka – Comfort & care
Behind the scenes, they keep the camp clean, green, and running strong — from fresh towels to flourishing gardens.

Mischi, Gihan, Tikiri & Ruwantha – Kite school & rentals
Decades of kiting experience and local knowledge come together here. These are the faces behind your first rides, smooth sessions, and epic downwinders.

Joseph – Massage therapist
Trained in therapeutic massage after losing his eyesight, Joseph offers deeply restorative sessions that help guests relax, recover, and recharge after long days on the water.

Nishantha & Shashikala – Kite repairs & upcycling
Masters of fabric and precision, this duo makes sure your gear — and our sustainability efforts — stay in top shape.
