Wilpattu National Park is home to elephants, leopards, crocodiles, rare birds, and many more exotic animals. In a jeep (with a driver) that can fit up to 8 people you'll go into the park to spot as many of these incredible animals as you can.

The park is located on the North-West coast of Sri Lanka, about a 2-hour drive from KSL

Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Minneriya National Park Safari

First we'll take you to Sigiriya Rock Fortress or Lion Rock, which is one of the most visited tourist destinations and most recognizable landmarks in Sri Lanka. The remains of a royal palace sit on top of the 200 meter high rock overlooking the ancient fortress city. The way up is decorated with beautiful frescoes and at the top you'll be rewarded with incredible views over the surrounding mountains and lakes.

Alternatively, we can take you to nearby Pidurangala Rock, which is less busy and looks over Sigiriya Rock.

Then in the early afternoon you'll go on a safari in Minneriya National Park. This park is knows as the best area to spot wild elephants in Sri Lanka. Apart from elephants you might see buffalos, deer, sloth bears or even leopards here. You'll go in to the park in a jeep (with driver) that can fit up to 8 people.

Sigiriya and Minneriya National Park are both located in the Central Province of Matale, about a 3 and a half hour drive from KSL.

Anuradhapura is still an active temple and place of worship. Arugam Bay

Arugam Bay is without a doubt the best surf spot in Sri Lanka and is even considered one of the top 10 surf spots in the world! There are spots for both professionals and amateurs, so even if you don't know how to surf yet, there are easier surf spots with surf schools to help you learn.

The best season for wave surfing in Arugam Bay is from April to November.

Arugam Bay is located on the South-East coast of Sri Lanka, about a 10-hour drive from KSL.

Sigiriya Rock Fortress & Dambulla Cave Temples

Five seperate caves contain over 150 beautiful Buddha statues and paintings., including some of Sri Lanka's most important religious art. The Dambulla Cave Temples sit about 160 meters above the road and from the cave you can even see Sigirya Rock in the distance!

Both rocks and the Cave Temples are situated in the Central Province of Matale, about a 3 and a half hour drive from KSL.

Then in the early afternoon you'll climb up the mountain peak of Mihintale near Anuradhapura. Mihintale is believed to be the origin of Buddhism in Sri Lanka and the temple at the top of the mountain is a popular pilgrimage site. From the top of the mountain you'll have a magical view over the whole Cultural Triangle.

Galle is famous for its old Dutch fort and the picturesque lighthouse on the ramparts. Inside the car-free old fortified city, you'll find luxury hotels, loads of restaurants with local and international food, churches, and other interesting colonial buildings. Go souvenir shopping in the many boutique shops or get a drink during sunset while watching over the Indian Ocean from the city walls
